Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-10-07
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Benchless. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Benchless.
2. The service
Benchless lets Swedish consultancies see what a decision means for them before they make it: what an hourly rate, an engagement, a hire or a dividend means for what you earn, what you owe in tax and what stays in the company. Benchless shows the consequences and you decide. Guidance, not advice. Benchless is not bookkeeping, and it is not invoicing, VAT or tax filing either. The service is currently in beta: features change, things occasionally break, and parts of the product may be reworked or removed as we learn.
3. Accounts
You sign in through our authentication provider (Clerk). Keep your credentials safe – you are responsible for activity on your account. Give us accurate information and tell us if something is wrong at benchless.app@gmail.com.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the service lawfully and only for its intended purpose.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data.
- Do not scrape, resell or redistribute the service, and do not reverse engineer it beyond what mandatory law permits.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, preferably after a warning, immediately if the violation is serious.
5. Your data
Everything you enter into Benchless is yours. You give us only the license we need to store, process and display it in order to run the service – nothing more. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
6. Pricing
Benchless is free during the beta. Our payment provider (Stripe) is dormant – no charges, no card data. If and when we introduce paid plans, we will tell you clearly and in advance; nothing starts costing money without your explicit action.
7. Availability and disclaimer
During the beta, the service is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind and without an uptime guarantee. If your data matters to you, you can ask for a copy at any time: email benchless.app@gmail.com.
8. Liability
To the extent Swedish law allows, Benchless is not liable for indirect or consequential damages – including lost profits, lost data or business interruption – arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.
9. Termination
You can stop using Benchless and delete your account at any time. We can terminate or suspend the service or your account per section 4, or discontinue the beta with reasonable notice. On termination, your data is handled as described in the privacy policy – ask for a copy of your data first by emailing benchless.app@gmail.com.
10. Changes
When these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change is material, we will tell you in-app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are settled by Swedish courts, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
